| LTC Consultants & SellingLTC.com, LLC Join Forces
to Launch the National LTCI Sales Training Conference
NASHVILLE, TN and ATLANTA, GA — October 13, 2005 — LTC Consultants
& SellingLTC.com, the long-term care insurance industry’s two
most well-respected sales training organizations announced today
that they have joined forces to develop the National LTCI Sales
Training Conference, the first LTCI industry show that focuses exclusively
on teaching insurance producers how to sell long-term care insurance.
The National LTCI Sales Training Conference, scheduled for April
24 – 27, 2006 in Nashville, will feature long-term care insurance
sales training from Phyllis Shelton, president of LTC Consultants
and from Phillip W. Sullivan, president of SellingLTC.com, LLC.
Together Shelton’s and Sullivan’s organizations have trained over
60,000 sales professionals.
“The goal of The National LTCI Sales Training Conference is to
help insurance producers increase their LTCI sales,” Shelton said.
“Phillip and I represent the two most effective LTCI selling styles
in the nation. Attendees will have the opportunity to select the
techniques from each approach that best suits their personality
and selling style. As an added bonus, Bill Cates, America's Referral
Coach, will talk about how to get referrals and keeping yourself
in front of prospects in the ‘Do Not Call’ environment”, said Shelton.
The Conference will include 2½ days of intense sales training designed
to cover everything from Warm-up to Close, including Sales Psychology,
Prospecting, Building Rapport, Making the Presentation, Plan Design,
Overcoming Objections, Closing the Sale, Selling to the Wealthy,
Worksite Marketing, Getting Referrals and more. Attendees will learn
how to sell from both Shelton and Sullivan.
“The LTCI industry has never seen a show like this. It will be
vastly different from all other LTCI events,” said Phillip W. Sullivan.
“Current industry shows offer diverse itineraries, including sessions
on product pricing or claims paying procedures or legislative updates
and so on. While those are interesting and entertaining topics to
discuss, they do not maximize a producer’s communication and closing
skills. That’s what the National LTCI Sales Training Conference
is all about - becoming the best and most effective salesperson
possible,” according to Sullivan.
Shelton and Sullivan emphasize that this event is not LTCI 101.
Producers will leave with everything needed to present and close
long-term care insurance more effectively regardless of whether
he or she is a beginner or a seasoned veteran. There will be no
breakout sessions, just 2 1/2 days of great training from one main
stage to teach the sales process, beginning to end.
